How to Order Online
We accept all major credit/debit cards including MasterCard, Visa and Visa debit, Maestro/Switch and Solo. You can order online in complete confidence. We take great care to ensure our website is secure and our customers' information is safe.

Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to The Apple Cottage Company. Please note if paying by cheque your order will not be dispatched until the funds have cleared. This can affect the delivery timescale for your order.

Delivery
All orders are dispatched as soon as possible but please allow 7-10 days for delivery of standard items and 14 days for personalised products. In rare circumstances, due to the handmade nature of the products it may take a little longer. In this instance we will contact you by email to inform you of the progress of your order. All orders are sent via Royal Mail and will usually require a signature.

Delivery charges
Delivery is charged at 1.95 (GBP) for mainland UK. For other destinations and overseas orders please email us with your order details. We will calculate delivery charges for your approval before processing your order.

Failed Delivery
We cannot accept responsibility for failed deliveries due to postal address errors made whilst placing orders. Please ensure all details are keyed accurately and confirm your address if necessary by emailing us at orders@applecottagecompany.co.uk.

Returns
We hope you will be delighted with your order, however, if you are not happy for any reason please let us know within 7 days of receipt of the goods. Return them to us, unused and in their original packaging for a replacement or refund. Please note postage and packaging costs are not refundable. When returning goods the package is your responsibility until it reaches us, therefore we recommend that you obtain a certificate of posting.

Description of Goods
We take great care to ensure that descriptions, specifications and colour reproductions of products are as accurate as possible. However, please note that occasionally products may vary slightly from the photographs due to their handmade nature and availability of materials. Exact colour matches to web photographs cannot be guaranteed. All sizes quoted are approximate.

Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). Information provided to The Apple Cottage Company is for internal use only. We do not sell or pass on any personal information to other companies or organisations.

Security
When you pay for your purchase using your credit or debit card, the details are handled through SagePay's secure server using 128-bit SSL. The secure server software encrypts the information that you input before it is transmitted. All sensitive transaction information is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No card information is passed unencrypted. Check for the padlock symbol!
